Equipment: Two EHF Series Presses
Customer base: Fashion houses
Gruppo Grafico Etichetta 2000 is a leading company dedicated to the production of fashion clothing tags. They are focused on high quality and specialty finished products. Thermography, foil stamping, embossing and textured foiling are the keywords of their success.
Italian Premiere Installation
“We are proud to announce that this is the first installation in Italy of the latest generation of Kluge Presses – The EHF Series Press.
Thanks to this important installation, we are one of the very few Italian (and European) clothing tag companies able to manage the complete production cycle in-house. This includes pre-printing, printing, specialty finishing (foil stamping, textured foiling, emboss, thermography), diecutting, creasing and variable data.
Our new EHF presses are highly productive while maintaining precision and reliability. The production manager here is enthusiastic about the operator-friendly set-up and registration system, a key factor to improve quality of the finished product. All complex set-up procedures typical of other platen presses have now been eliminated.
Another critical advantage of Kluge presses is their impression strength making them essential for deep embossing and diecutting jobs. All that at a maximum operative speed of up to 2,850 iph. In order to keep production as smooth as possible, we have assigned one EHF Press to foil stamping and embossing, and the other to diecutting and creasing.
Expert Kluge Service Technicians
Each installation required approximately one week of set up and configuration, and was managed by the Kluge service expert, Tim Undis. He took care of every single step, from assembly, to set-up, operators’ training, printing tests, and finally production.
With Kluge, we are assured of complete and solid foil stamping coverage, deep crisp embossing, and clean accurate diecutting.”
