The Section 179 Tax Law and How it Benefits You
Did you know?
The Section 179 Federal Income Tax Deduction allows a small manufacturing company to deduct the first $108,000 of equipment purchased in 2007 from their taxable income.
For 2007, 2008 and 2009 the $108,000 will be adjusted for inflation. In 2010 the deduction will be $25,000 and not adjusted for inflation.
Note: Amounts subject to change as Congress debates the tax law. Consult your income tax advisor to determine the actual income tax benefits available to you.
