The Advantages of The Kluge Automatic Blank Separator vs. In-line and Off-line Blanking

About the Kluge Blanker

  • The TXR Series Blank Separator is an off-line, automatic machine that utilizes a pin system to separate blanks, or remove the scrap, from a die cut sheet.
  • The machine is available in two sizes: TXR-800: 22" x 33" sheet size TXR-1100: 32" x 43" sheet size.
  • Each unit comes with a pallet lifting mechanism to assist the automatic feed of stock, and a waste disposal system is optional.

The TXR Series was designed by the Kawahara Packaging Corporation to eliminate a bottleneck in their  production process. The Blanker's success lead to the sale of over 130  machines in Japan. Kluge is pleased to introduce this machine to the North American market.

Key Benefits

If you currently blank in-line while diecutting, the TXR-Series has the following advantages:

  • Less than 10 minute make-ready time on repeat jobs
    (45 minutes on new)
  • Requires no expensive tooling and dies
  • Allows die cutting press to run up to 30% faster

If you currently blank off-line manually, the TXR Series has the following advantages:

  • Higher production speed with no waste
  • Eliminates noise and paper dust
  • Reduces labor requirement and the associated costs (workers compensation)

The TXR-Series Automatic Blank Separator is a unique machine that is simple in its concept and designed to meet the blanking demands of the diecutting/converting market.
